Two years ago, I was re-elected as your MP as part of a new Labour government. This puts my in very different position to the situation I was in between 2017 and 2024 while Labour was in opposition. Now, I have the opportunity to support some transformative policies – the Renters’ Rights Act, free breakfast clubs in schools and cutting NHS waiting times, to name a few. I’m also in a much better position to influence government policy and advocate for action on key issues.
It’s very important to me that you are a part of this, and that I am open and honest about my thought processes and opinions. That is why I have launched this new page as an extra way of keeping you up to date. This page includes information about:
- Policy Viewpoint, my regular newsletter that covers the topics that the largest number of constituents have contacted me about.
- My stance on a number of key policy issues.
Policy Viewpoint
I write a regular newsletter, called Policy Viewpoint, which sets out my views on the key issues that constituents are raising with me at any given time.
